To explain the story, Abby wrote, “Me: Instantly swiped a guy I found on tinder” over a video of her wearing a hoodie in her bedroom.

“He: Want to go to Mexico???”

“me: are you sure? we just met…”

“he: (the Bo Burnham song in the background says ‘like I give like ***'”)

She then posted a photo of the couple on the plane with the words “Two days later” written on it as she shared a cute photo of the couple enjoying their vacation in Mexico together.

They were photographed together in the pool, on the boat, at the beach bar, at the white sand beach, kissing and hugging; Their time together looks really idyllic.

Later, Abby wrote: “After our return.”

“He: Thanks for coming… this isn’t going to work out,” as the song continues and she makes a sad face with her hood.

Commenters tried to comfort her about her heartbreak as well as remind her how risky what she did.

One joked: “At least at the end of the day you still have your organs intact.”

Another feared Abby’s guts, saying: “You guys are so brave, I’m afraid if I go on vacation like this they’ll kidnap me.”

“Baby, I’m part of #crimetok and I’m glad you’re safe again.” A tiktoker expert joined the conversation.

Many people agree: “This feels very commercial but also very happy that it has worked in your favor.”

Abby commented to tell viewers: “I just wanted to come and make it clear that we are still friends and there is no animosity between us. Please be nice.”

Most were still surprised that she returned safely and some even told her, “He doesn’t want to go on vacation alone.”

“At least it’s not ghosting and he’s being honest,” another said.

A similar but terrifyingly successful love story, says, “My last date was in Mexico! Ten months of dating,” Abby replied: “goal.”
