AIRBAGS reduce the harm caused in a car accident, but they do not eliminate it.
A driver learned this the hard way after air bag deployed in her car when it crashed from the side, leaving her with an unmistakable bruise.
Andrea Juarez from Dallas, Texassaid her car was hit while in an intersection.
She walked away with a broken hand, an amazing bruise on her forearm that perfectly matches the Nissan logo on her steering wheel, according to Motor1.com.
The force from the deploying airbag sent the logo straight into her forearm. Despite being shocked, she still managed to snap a picture of the bruise.
Juarez posted pictures of her Twitter and it quickly went viral, garnering more than 160,000 likes.

Other Twitter users began sharing similar stories of their own accidents and the complicated bruises left behind.
Dodge, Jeep, Honda, Mazda, Buick and other car owners have all shared pictures of their own bruises that perfectly mirror their vehicle’s steering wheel emblem.
A Hyundai driver shared this photo of a nearly perfect logo bruise he got in a crash in 2016.
Most bruises are also in the same place on the forearm.
The airbag deploys in a split second and deploys at about 200 miles per hour.
For optimal safety, the driver’s airbag deploys from the center of the steering wheel, often with the brand’s logo on it.
Depending on how the driver’s hand is positioned on the wheel, the icon can make direct contact with their forearm and give them one of these crazy bruises.
