I was sent a penis in the mail as a nasty joke – but I got my revenge

A CALIFORNIA woman was sent a chocolate penis in the mail as a nasty prank seeking revenge.

Linda Parks was sent a life-sized chocolate penis by a company called D**k at Your Door and claimed that it caused her mental distress.

D**k at Your Door is a company that anonymously sends phallic chocolates and other gag gifts.

Parks received a surprise delivery in June 2021.

At the time, the woman was serving as the supervisor of Ventura County. But an effort is underway to revoke her position after she voted to sue businesses that failed to comply. Covid regulations.

However, that attempt was unsuccessful and Parks maintained his position.

Along with the chocolate penis was a note that supposedly “Enjoy your early retirement… You deserve it,” according to VCReporter.

Parks eventually took revenge – by filing a lawsuit against D**k at Your Door.

The legal complaint alleges that the company failed and refused to “disclose the person(s) ultimately responsible for the offensive and outrageous conduct alleged herein.”

Parks alleges that the company’s actions were “outrageous, intentional and malicious, and recklessly executed” for the mental and physical suffering she would cause.

In addition, “D**k chocolate” is described as “no substitute for social quality.”

She is suing for general damages, special damages including psychological counseling and lost wages, and litigation costs.

The website D**k at Your Door says it ships all gifts “at its sole discretion.”

In the FAQ page, the question “Why?” was met with the following response from the company: “Because what’s better than sending an anonymous chocolate chip to someone in the mail? There’s something truly special about knowing you’ve given something out. confusing without any hope of finding out who the culprit is.

“It’s a special kind of torture.”

The site also has a disclaimer stating that the products are intended as gag gifts and are not sent with malicious intent.

This is not the first time a lawsuit has surfaced against D**k at Your Door.

In 2016, Vice reported that an employee at a Dallas-based tech company also sued D**k at Your Door.

In that case, this person is looking for information on someone who anonymously sent her a “bag of money” through D**k at Your Door.
