I was $1 million in debt and living with my mother-in-law – now I organize sex parties for the rich and famous

THE founder of the world’s most elite sex club has spoken candidly about the exhilarating highs and devastating lows of his wild life, revealing how he went from a million dollars in debt to organizing erotic parties for the rich and famous.

Damon Lawner, who sold SNCTM for a seven-figure sum in 2019, is back with a series of erotic projects, along with a new iHeart Radio podcast about his incredible journey.

The New York native, who didn’t come from money but found success through various ventures, lost everything during the 2009 financial crisis.

“I’ve lost a house, I’ve lost two cars, I’ve lost a restaurant that I owned, I’ve lost an energy drink company that I was invested in,” he told The US Sun in an exclusive chat by from his home in Hollywood.

“I went to Bali, my father has a villa and he invited me to come down and stay. We spent three years in Bali.”

He said when he came back in 2013 they still had nothing and he was “completely broke” and living with his ex-wife and two children in a room next to his mother-in-law’s kitchen.

“I was $1 million in debt. 2009 absolutely wiped me out and absolutely submerged me, absolutely backward.

“I didn’t know what I was going to do. I applied for a job as a parking attendant in Beverly Hills. I couldn’t get a job. I was unemployed and had always worked for myself.

“I didn’t have a resume, I was a 46-year-old man and I couldn’t make a dollar. It was an incredibly scary time – I didn’t know how to support my family.”

Opening the new podcast, available exclusively from The US Sun, the narrator describes Damon as walking around LA with holes in his shoes, “like a cartoon character who comes down on his looks.”

She explained, “Just a few years later, people were paying him hundreds of thousands of dollars to attend his exclusive, lavish masquerade parties.

At the time, sex club tickets were $50 and they were beds wrapped in plastic.”

“SNCTM has become a playground for the rich, the famous, and those hot enough to hang out with the rich and famous.”

Damon’s inspiration was Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut, starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.

He was fascinated by the secret sex parties their characters attended at a mysterious mansion.

The father of two was struggling with monogamy at the time and wanted to explore his own sexuality. He said that while he loves his wife, he wonders if there’s more out there.

“I saw Eyes Wide Shut and I don’t know what happened. Some lightbulb went out and I was wondering if there was such a thing in the world,” he said.

“The villa he goes to, the party and the experience, it was so surreal and so interesting, very dark but also beautiful. I was just fascinated by it.

“Since I couldn’t find anything like it, I just decided I would create my own, and somehow I was able to.

“I wasn’t in a circle of billionaires and celebrities and all that back then. I was a broke married man with nothing and no way out.

“And then I changed the paradigm of what a sex club is. Back then sex club tickets were $50 and they were beds wrapped in plastic and it was just a mess.

ROCKSTAR FOURSOME

“Nobody wanted to go to a sex party in 2013. And I turned it into this thing where I could sell $420,000 memberships, which has never happened before, and it’s never going to happen again.

“The story of that is the podcast. I tell this story in detail – not only me, but also people who worked in the club and artists. It’s an incredible story they’ve put together.

“I embarked on this adventure to create something like what I saw in this film, something billionaires and celebrities would be present in, something very private and exclusive.

“Something that had performances that would blow people’s minds like, ‘Wow, what is that? I’ve never seen anything like it.’ And that’s what I did, it became the most elite sex club in the world.”

The entrepreneur is now working on a number of new projects, including his Secret Garden club with up to $1 million NFT membership and a week-long party on a private island.

Discussing the highlight of his time at SNCTM, where masked soirees were held at a mansion in Beverly Hills, Damon said, “The year 2017 at the mansion was an absolute dream.

“One night, one of America’s biggest rock stars was in a bedroom, playing guitar, singing, and serenading me and a group of girls.

“Someone you would only see on stage, someone you would only dream of meeting.”

BLOOD OATHS

He also had a foursome with an English rock star and two beautiful women and said there were plenty of stunning nights at the villa, along with daily pool parties throughout the summer.

“I literally personally ran these parties and they were beautiful, they really were. I enjoyed them.

“There have been so many wild times at SNCTM, there are certain things that probably make me stand out.

“We would do these blood oath ceremonies where very famous people would prick their fingers, draw a little blood, put it on this parchment paper and indoctrinate them into this club.

“It was all theater for me, and for her too. The press and others talked about it being like a secret Illuminati cult, which it really wasn’t, but I loved that so I played with it and it was so part of the ethos of what SNCTM was for sure.

“The politicians who run this country and the people who build the cars you drive and the movies you watch, they’ve been in my club [having sex].

“I think the world needs more spaces like this, where people aren’t ashamed to express their sexuality the way they want, it’s a consensual space, it’s a safe space.

“There’s going to be a lot of people out there who want to judge and shame people because they want to enjoy something that’s a little out of the ordinary. I think for me my approach was the opposite of that.”

Members still pay thousands of dollars for SNCTM membership, and masked parties include sensual performances with the creative team engaging in sexual acts for guests to see.

DIVORCE BATTLE

But despite enjoying the hedonistic lifestyle for many years, Damon says he’s also sacrificed a lot, and in the new podcast reveals all about the fallout of his marriage to ex-wife Melissa.

“At this point in my life I feel like I can be absolutely honest about everything and that’s why I just let it all out,” he admitted.

“The podcast will really tell the story of how I did this and the effect it had on me and other people.

“It was really, really one of the most amazing things I’ve ever experienced in my life, but there was also darkness because I decided to give up my family for it.

“It gave me incredible status and a life beyond my wildest dreams, but it also took away what was most important to me, which is my wife and children.

“At this point, with a lot of thought, I can’t blame SNCTM, I blame myself. I wanted to give it my all and experience what everyone else has experienced.

“We were together 20 years, it was a monogamous relationship, but I wanted to drink the Kool-Aid, you know, I wanted to try.

“I came up with something and it became successful. At that moment in my life, walking away from it just wasn’t an option. I had to go through with it.”

Damon says if he could go back in time and choose his family, he’d probably “dumb” the idea of divorce, but it’s hard to say who he would have become if he hadn’t had the experiences that he did at SNCTM.

Damon said he and Melissa, who appears on the podcast, are now “best friends” and in a great relationship and that he is a “good father” who has changed for the better in recent years.
