I used to be the fattest teenager in America at 600 pounds, but I’m unrecognizable now, having lost half my body weight

A SINGER billed as America’s fattest teenager looks unrecognizable after losing about half his body weight.

Years later he lost the pounds and has since graduated from West Texas A&M University and works at a church.
According to the KFDA, Williamson revealed that he struggled with his weight when he was just three years old.
He weighed 90 pounds – more than double the average.
His mother, Julie, told the network that he used to struggle to keep up when the couple went for a walk.

She added, “We would go for walks and he would have to take breaks.”
Williamson decided to change his life as he didn’t want to die.
He revealed on a 2016 episode of medical talk show The Doctors, “I have a voice and I need to be heard.
“I don’t want to die with the music inside me!”
On a show a year later, the hosts gave an update on his weight loss journey, revealing he’d lost 300 pounds.
He also sought the help of TV star Dr. Nowzaradan, who has a clinic in Houston.
On the TLC series My 600-lb Life, Williamson revealed he had signed up at a local gym but said he was struggling with his anxiety.
He said the facility has a private room to work out, adding that he’s enjoying this time.
Williamson admitted: “The first few times were really tough but now I feel like I can do better and I’m making progress.
‘MAKING PROGRESS’
“If people come in, I can handle it as long as it’s not too many.”
Williamson had to travel to Houston, which helped him adjust to the public.
He said the experience helped him “see just how much he can handle.”
Aiming to be approved for weight-loss surgery, Williamson said it feels like he’s “remodeled his life.”
Julie promised him she would move to the Texas town after his surgery.
Williamson was put on a strict diet plan, only eating three meals a day instead of eating food all the time.
The singer described it as a “big change” in his lifestyle.
Justin managed to shed the pounds and he admitted he couldn’t believe how far he’d come.
He said: “I will be under 300 [pounds] soon, which is really exciting.”
BIG CHANGES
But despite the weight loss, he was left with sagging excess skin around his body.
He vowed to keep losing weight so he could qualify for skin removal surgery.
Williamson admitted he was worried it could cause him bigger problems in the long run.
He said: “I don’t want to let anything slow me down at the moment.”
Williamson’s supportive father Johnny admitted he was “blown away” that his son hadn’t “wavered” from his goal of losing weight and changing his life.
He said: “The commitment is just admirable. It’s really.
Williamson revealed he was inundated with messages while in college when his weight loss story went viral.
He told KAMR in 2019, “I’ve been getting messages from all over the world from people just saying we’re with you Justin, keep it up Justin and you can make it happen. It just meant the world to me.”

Williamson has shared photos of himself on social media showing his stunning transformation.
He announced that he will be graduating from college in 2021 and performing as a choirboy.
