I tried to give myself cute french braids but they went wrong and now people can’t stop laughing

FRENCH braids are all the rage these days.

Celebs like Kim Kardashian and Rita Ora have sported the trend.

The cool style didn't exactly go to plan for the hair hope

But when this hair hope saw a new twist on the popular style, she was sure it would be easy to recreate.

Emily Ventre from Kansas City, Missouri tried to copy the style originally posted by Clara Gruger.

Clara’s effortless beach hairstyle involved French braiding just the front sections of her hair.

She captioned her video, “If you want to wear your hair but also want it out of your face.”

Emily thought the chic style was easy enough to do her own and started braiding.

The hairdo looked very different than it should.

Emily’s braids were much thinner than Clara’s and stuck out of her head like antennae.

She begged, “Somebody please teach me how to do cute braids, I’m literally incompetent.”

Viewers of the video found her massive hair loss hilarious: “I died laughing I’m so sorry omg.”

Another said: “Oh wow… I’m trying to do anything with my hair.”

A third commented: “It’s still better than anything I could do.”

Some users tried to give the hair hopeful a braiding tip: “You stop the braid too soon, you need to pull it closer to your head and stop behind your ear.”

A second added: “Braid it the way you want it to sit too.”

Another said: “Also you did Dutch braids instead of French braids haha.”
