I thought my wedding day would be perfect – that’s until my cake came out completely ruined

It wouldn’t be a wedding without a little last-minute panic.
Even the most experienced planners are sometimes not immune to everyday surprises that leave them struggling to find solutions.
A bride named MacKenzie Marchbanks has shared her wedding day drama on TikTok — and viewers are curious to know how she tackles the problem.
The clip starts with a sweet photo of her and her groom smiling with a bouquet of flowers.
A romantic song plays in the background while text on the photo reads: “The me of the day before my wedding thought everything would be perfect.”
As the rhythm dropped and the aggressive sound of someone spouting nonsense reverberated, a video of her destroyed wedding cake appeared.
“My cake…” she wrote, setting out the dessert still in its box.
The top three layers of the cake are separated from the bottom layer, and the bottom layer is split in half.
Although the cake was broken, she still found humor in the matter, captioning the video: “Truly the happiest memory of my wedding.”
Some viewers made sage comments:
“The dress and the cake won’t matter in the long run. It’s who you marry and the people around you for that matter,” one comment read.
But it’s up to the others to decide if she fixes the cake or not.
In response to one of these curious commenters, she posted a second clip and annotate it:
“Thank you to the woman who made my cake. [She] drove over 40 minutes to fix it. “
This next video shows a woman locating the top floors back to the bottom floors.
She then re-freezes the cake so the layers stay in place and appear fluffy.
Using a pastry bag, she adds texture and borders the treat with decorative swirls.
A monogram gold topper is the perfect finishing touch!
