I suffered four days of TORTURE on the real Squid Game Show – I saw three people get hurt in one day

A PARTICIPANT in the real version of Squid Game claims she suffered four days of torture and saw three people collapse in just one day.
The Brit, in her late 20s, known only as Sophie, says she went through “emotional and physical anguish” before being “wrongly” kicked out of the competition, which is based on the hit Netflix show.

During a 12-hour session on set on the first day of shooting, when temperatures dropped to -3C, she said she saw three people collapse and one person being carried off the stretcher.
However, sources have told The Sun Online that no one was placed on a stretcher and that medics were on hand at all times to treat three people for minor illnesses.
Sophie also claims she was one of the competitors who were “unfairly” kicked out in the first round and said the producers “already decided who was going to get through”.
According to her, those eliminated found their flights home had already been booked and their luggage not put into storage like the other contestants hoping for the £3.7million prize.
She has also claimed that even before the competition started, the contestants were treated like prisoners and subjected to mind games.
Sophie told MailOnline: “The conditions were appalling and the whole thing was staged. It was a huge scam.
“People were treated in a devilish way. Many had traveled from the other end of the world to be there with no chance of winning.
“It was torture. Everything you did was completely controlled by them and it completely boggles your mind.”
She added the conditions were “not humane”.
Sophie said her ordeal began last Friday afternoon when she arrived at the London hotel and was forced to remain isolated in her room for the next 60 hours, only being let out for her meals.
To ensure that no one left their room, a “guard” was posted on each floor, and there were more in the lobby.
She described it as being in prison and being subjected to “psychological torture”.
Participants were only allowed out three times a day for 10 minutes each, and they had to wear masks and be prevented from speaking to anyone, Sophie said.
They were given their meals on a tray that they had to take to their room and once they had eaten they had to put it outside their door, she claimed.
Sophie said she had been told they would be isolating to try and prepare attendees for the game.
Some people were even eliminated before the game started.
According to Sophie, some people tried to go outside and were caught, a group of girls were spotted in each other’s rooms and a man tried to go downstairs to get a cup of coffee – all were eliminated.
The Sun has also revealed that two contestants were kicked off the show after being caught having sex in a hotel room.
The day before shooting began, their cell phones and laptops were taken away and their suitcases were padlocked.
At 4:30am on Monday, when filming began, the participants were taken by bus to Cardington Studios, a former RAF base near Bedford.
The participants were gathered in a series of marquees set up outside a hangar where filming was taking place.
She said despite the frigid conditions, only a few “small heaters” were provided.
Six hours later, filming began on the first game, called Red Light, Green Light.
For the task, participants were given five minutes to cross a stretch of land while music was playing.
But every time the music stopped they had to “freeze” and those who didn’t freeze fast enough were eliminated in a fake gunfire.
Sophie said the participants had to stand there in the freezing cold for 30 minutes.
She said it was “great concern” when she saw a man fall to the ground because he “could no longer feel his body”.
Sophie claimed to have seen three people collapse before the end of the game, which had lasted at least a couple of hours.
Sophie also suggested that the show’s organizers knew who they wanted to advance to the next round.
In the game, the contestants had devices fitted with motion sensors and a pack of fake blood also attached to them that went off when the sensor was triggered – giving the impression that they had been “shot”.
However, Sophie claimed that people around her were “obviously moving” but weren’t “shot,” adding that she “didn’t move an inch” but was eliminated nonetheless.
She also said that certain people who had interesting stories were interviewed beforehand, adding that they all went through them.
Sophie also said that one girl who collapsed because of the cold was a twin and the medics took her out to warm her up, but then she came back and went on to the next round.
A statement from production company Studio Lambert, The Garden and Netflix said: “We care deeply about the health and safety of our cast and crew and invest in all proper safety procedures. Although it was very cold on set – and the contestants were prepared for it – any claims of serious injury are untrue.”
It comes after The Sun revealed a large number of players are considering suing the company.
They claim they were “treated like animals”.
One player said, “We were tortured for eight hours. We were just fodder. They wouldn’t treat animals like that.
“I know the show was supposed to be tough, but it felt inhuman.
It comes after Wolf, who was in the original Gladiators show, was knocked out in the first round.
