I sold my coffee shop in lockdown to move back to the countryside

LOCKDOWN makes so many of us feel like changing something in our lives.

For Natalie Evans, that prompted her to sell her coffee shop in the city and convert it to country life, herding sheep on a farm.

In one Tiktok has almost 100,000 views, Shepherdess with 200 sheep shared her journey with her

She joked it with the caption: “Who wants a flock of sheep?”

In another Tiktok, she explained her decision to leave, showing her footage in the city with: “This is me 2 years ago. Working in the city. Anxiety and dissatisfaction.

“This is me now. Complete and connect with myself,” she wrote through footage of her lying in a meadow with a cow.

Natalie explains: “I decided to give up the act of being who I am not.

“I learned to be vulnerable. I stopped striving for perfection.” She wrote about a newborn lamb.

“After all, there is no authenticity where there is no truth,” the shepherd wrote over footage of a lamb suckling its mother’s milk.

“I stopped operating on the expectations of others and learned to trust my own intuition,” she explains.

Natalie also has three dogs on the farm, one of which is a sheepdog named Sapper that she spent six months training to help her gather around the sheep.

Many praised her extreme decision, as one said: “What a great decision.”

One person even did something simple when they said, “I sold and became a dairy farmer for this reason.”

“I totally get it,” another agreed.

While others admired her bravery, saying: “I wish I had the courage to do a jump. Good luck.”

“Good job mate,” said one.

Another agreed, as they wrote: “Wise decision helped you.”
