A woman has revealed how she secretly married her childhood sweetheart and didn’t tell her family for two years.

TikTok user Bree, who posts under @breedukz, has revealed how the two live with her mother, but tries to keep it a secret.

She uploaded a videotapes at their ceremony, which took place when she was 20 and her husband was 21, wrote: “one of the best memories I have.”

Bree explains how she has a great relationship with her family, and so does her husband, but they choose not to tell them about their union.

She explained: “We have always kept our relationship private so this means a lot.

“I just told them we decided to have a baby.

“We’ve lived together since before so nothing has really changed.”

She said her family was “all overjoyed” when they heard the news, but added: “I’m surprised because I’m terrible at keeping secrets.”

When asked about their reasons for not telling anyone, Bree admitted: “ummm, I really have no reason to be honest!”

Her video has been viewed more than 6 million times and many people say they have done the same.

One wrote: “I got married in secret, my dad didn’t find out until I changed my name on fb 7 months later and my son is a few months old.”

Another added: “if you’re happy, it doesn’t matter.”
