A woman who took in a stray puppy was completely shocked when it turned into a terrifying creature.
She took the puppy home to feed and care for him, but the cute ball of fluff soon grew much bigger than she expected.
The creature’s owner, named Awilix, calls it a “wolfhound” and claims it is 80 percent gray wolf, 10 percent German Shepherd and 10 percent malamute.
Awilix caused confusion on the internet when he appeared in a Tiktok video with the caption “When you save a stray puppy.”
The video has been viewed 51.2 million times and the creator often feels the need to accompany posted videos of her wolf with a warning.
It says: “Wolfhounds are not meant for the average person. Although they are amazing animals, they require special attention, care and training.”
The viral clip showed a harmless-looking fluffy puppy playing with its owner’s hand before abruptly transitioning to a wolf-like creature stalking towards the camera.
The beast is much larger than a dog, has pointed ears, matted fur, and glowing beady eyes.
Tiktokers quickly took action, warning the woman: “Brother, that’s a f***ing wolf” and “This wolf will kill you.”
But one person saw the bright side of the situation and said: “He’s not in your house, you’re in his!”
A third appeared jealous of the creature, commenting: “I WANT…I NEED”.
Although this animal accident seems like an unlikely mistake, it is not the first time something like this has happened.
Recently, a man thought he had brought a puppy, but it turned out to be a different animal.
He discovered that he was actually caring for a fox cub and was potentially in danger of contracting a whole host of diseases.
Something similar happened again when a woman rescued an adorable black kitten, but it soon turned into a petrifying black panther.
She then made the shocking decision to keep the predator, who is now best friends with her pet Rottweiler.
There was also a family in China whose lives were in danger because it took them more than two years to realize that their dog was actually a bear.
