A MAN who lost his $4,000 wallet in Times Square got it back via a Good Samaritan who found it
Honduran native Eduardo Martinez walked through the tourist attraction on his way to work on Wednesday and reportedly dropped his wallet near Broadway and 49th Street. NYC.
Shortly after realizing what had happened, he returned to the crowded area, where he was approached by two police officers.
They said they were approached by an unnamed woman who also commuted to work at the same time as Martinez. NBC New York reports.
The police then verified his identity and returned the wallet, which still contained the money and other items.
Speaking in Spanish, Martinez said he was grateful to the police officers and the woman who returned it, saying that their kindness proved there were still honest people in the world.
