I lost my son at Disney World and I was horrified – any parent must know the tactics I used to find him

A mom named Danyelle Leyden, known on TikTok as @proudmommy9110, shared her useful tip for finding a missing child.
Fellow mom Jess Martini (@jesmartini) reposted the video and it went viral.
Danyelle began: “I saw this tip on TikTok a few months ago that said if you lose your child, don’t call your child’s name. Just start yelling what they were wearing, ok?”
Instead of looking around in silence or saying a name that no one else around knows, yell its description.

“We’re in Disney World at Hollywood Studios and damn it, we’ve lost a kid. We lost Corey.
“So I was running around and not yelling at Corey, I was yelling, ‘Green hat, singlet! Green hat, undershirt!’
“And within literally four minutes, he was found and safely returned to us.”
By yelling at what the child looked like, strangers in the park had their eyes open and helped locate them quickly.
This trick would also discourage potential kidnappers from moving forward with the child because others would cause a stir.
“People walked past me and repeated me up there and said, ‘Did you see a kid in a green hat?’
“It’s the most effective. Especially in an area like this where there are so many children.”

The woman who reposted the video, Jess Martini, shared a few other useful tips:
“Dress in bright colors; Take a picture of the kid in full outfit before entering the place. alert staff and have an adult block the exit; Write the PARENTS name and number on the child.”
