The TikToker and her husband bought a property in the woods through a Facebook Marketplace ad so she and her family could “build the life of their dreams.”

On Tiktok, Shanta (@londonshanta) documents her family’s everyday life in a tent, including growing their food, exploring the forest around them, and homeschooling their five children.

Many people, including those close to her, had doubts about Shanta housing her family in a tent, but the former real estate agent claims it was the best thing for her family.

“Remember that everyone’s values are different. What works for some may not work.” [work] for others…” Shanta explained in the caption of one of hers videos.

“As a mother, I will sacrifice whatever I have to sacrifice so they can have more. God planted the seed, I just water it. I am the generation’s curse breaker, the path maker, the one who touches the mud so my children never have to.” !”

Shanta and her husband received a lot of negative feedback for their move, being called “delusional” and even being told they were “selfish” for moving their children into a tent.

However, after seeing her children doing well while homeschooling in the wilderness and spending more time with her family, she revealed that she has no regrets about following her heart.

Shanta and her husband are currently saving for an RV so they can travel the world.
