I hit a life changing £105MILLION in the EuroMillions jackpot

A COUPLE who have clinched a life-changing £105million lottery win have stayed out of the clouds by not splashing out the money on failed engines.

Builder Steve Thomson, 42, and his wife, Lenka, 41, bought a used van and car after winning the huge cash windfall — and even continued with their own DIY.

The couple have refused to spend money after hitting their mega jackpot, the 10th largest in the UK.

Shortly after Steve announced their win, he bought a used van for himself, followed by a Volvo XC90 for Lenka.

The savvy Steve also invested some of his money with Queens Bank, Coutts & Co after the 2019 windfall.

They’ve reportedly invested “tens of millions” in a trust and could be poised for another big hit in the years to come.

The family also swapped their terraced home in Selsey, West Sussex, for a sprawling country estate last year.

But her new 14.5-acre estate, which has a swimming pool, tennis court and party barn, is seven times the size of the average British estate.

Neighbors near the imposing 7,000 square foot Kent farmhouse include Hollywood actors, rock stars and an IT tycoon.

Steve said having their own rooms was key for his kids but vowed he would renovate the house himself.

He said: “The kids finally have their own bedrooms. It’s a simple thing, but it was everything they ever wanted.

“I’m still not over what happened to us and honestly I’m still trying to process it. It feels like we were in our old life yesterday – it will take us a while to get used to it.

“We’re very fortunate to be in this place, but there’s still work to be done, so that’s what I’ll focus on for now.”

After winning the EuroMillions jackpot, window and conservatory fitter Steve continued to work to complete his outstanding orders.

Britain’s biggest EuroMillions winner ever Joe Thwaite, 49, and wife Jess, 44, arrived from Gloucestershire earlier this month for being wealthier than Adele.

They became the biggest winners of all time after pocketing £184m that changed their lives.

But the couple, who have two primary school-aged children, got on with their day as usual after realizing they had won the EuroMillions.

Communications Sales Engineer Joe, who bought the winning Lucky Dip ticket just hours before the draw, didn’t even wake his wife after noticing the win – he waited for her alarm to go off before whispering to Jess that he have a “secret”.

Joe has been married to hairdresser Jess for 11 years and they live in a £600,000 house with ponies, geckos, chickens and dogs.

They celebrated the win with a family dinner.

They announced they went public because they wanted to be honest with the people they love.

The previous top winners remained anonymous as they bagged £170m in October 2019.
