One WOMEN has revealed how she can retire at 26 and shares three rules she follows to help others succeed.
Tori Dunlap, an American monetization expert, posted her secret reveal video on her TikTok account, herfirst100k, where it has been viewed more than four million times.
Tori is the founder of the financial advice website, Her first 100k, in which Tori provides resources and advice to women on becoming financially independent, getting a decent salary, and confident to ask for more.
Tori shared in the TikTok video how she was able to comfortably retire at 26 and revealed exactly how she did it.
“Being financially independent means I never have to work a day in my life if I don’t want to,” she says.
“Here are three ways I made it happen, and how you can too.
“I started investing as soon as I could.
“Now in my work as a money expert, I always tell people that the best day to start investing is today because you didn’t wait to start tomorrow.
“You have time on the side, so start investing if you haven’t already, or increase your contribution if you’ve already started.
“The next thing I did, when I was working for the company, I negotiated my salary, wherever I was.
“I didn’t stay in a job that didn’t fairly compensate me.
“And third, last but not least, this lovely seven-figure business I own used to be a side hustle.
“Besides me hustling plus my 9-5, it meant I was able to drop all the extra income I made.”
Tori added that she really won’t retire yet but it’s a great feeling to know she can do it if she wants to.
Helping women take control of their finances is really important to Tori, who says she started her first business at the age of 9, buying a vending machine and using the money. it to pay for college education.
At the age of twenty, she sold the business to a ten-year-old girl.
“This is the heart of financial feminism: embrace your power, and not only use it to get ahead, but to help others get there,” she writes.
Users are grateful for the advice of Tori, a writer; “I wish I knew all this in my 20s. I’m 41 and still have 10 years to pay off student loans. But, I’m studying!”
Another added: “Goal. I’ll be there someday, but thanks for the little info that got me across the finish line!”
“Target target target!” Wrote a third person.
In addition, one woman revealed how she retires at 35 with a million in the bank by not spending cash on clothes.
