A DRIVER debuted his first electric vehicle online and was delighted to never have to pay for petrol again. However, the excitement only lasted a few hours after he made a rookie mistake.

This happened to Minoeve, a TikToker with almost 40,000 followers who describes herself as the real Lara Croft – the main character from the Tomb Raider video game series.

She shared a clip of her brand new BMW i3 and said she would no longer be paying for gas.

“I just bought a new car, I’m not paying gas more!” she cheered. “F**k the gas!”

However, that is next The clip showed Minoeve charging her vehicle at a charging station and revealed that she had been towed.

“You didn’t get to the charging station on time and have to have your car towed in a few hours,” read the text on the screen.

“I just bought this car around 7 p.m.,” she said. “And my battery is dead.”

She received nearly 500 comments, some from people wondering how she could have ended up in this situation.

“Can’t charge at home?” one person asked.

Another asked: “You couldn’t fully charge it at the dealer?”

Others made light of the situation and gave Minoeve humorous advice.

“Just squeeze it,” one person wrote.

“Bro, just put it in neutral and push it a few feet,” another person wrote.

“Ask someone for help if necessary.”
