CUSTOMER service agent Bea Jenson, 25, lives with her longtime boyfriend in Aberdeen.
She said: “I used to be so nervous before having sex with a new partner, I had to fall in love first.
“It became a bad habit that I couldn’t break, even when I started having sex with my boyfriend.
“I decided I needed a change after a few drunken nights in the bedroom.
“Once I fell out of bed during sex and actually injured my arm.
“Another time, on a romantic weekend, I was trying to look glamorous in a hotel room and put on new underwear when I tripped and hit my head.
“It was a wake-up call for me to figure out why I was using alcohol as a crutch to have sex.
“It all made me insecure and nervous, so I tried to build confidence when I stepped out of the bedroom.
“It works and for the past few months I have had the best sex of my life sober.
“I’ll never go back. I’ve had many longer and more intense orgasms and the best part is that I can remember it in the morning.”
