Tom Hardy fans can rejoice as it has been confirmed that he will be joining the sixth and final season of Peaky Blinders.

When the BBC show revealed their official trailer for series 6, Tom’s character Alfie was introduced.

The short clip shows Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) walk through the old rum distillery of the Solomons.

Alfie appeared from the shadows, and Tommy said, “Alfie, I think I might have written your final script.”

Tom Hardy’s Alfie made his debut on Peaky Blinders in season 2 as the leader of a Jewish gang in London.

After forming an alliance with the Peaky Blinders to overthrow the local Italian gang, Alfie and Tommy develop a friendly rivalry that evolves into betrayal.

Their rivalry came to a head in the season 4 finale when Tommy shot Alfie in the face after another arm cross.

But the season 5 finale revealed that Alfie was still alive, but severely scarred from the shooting.
