He posted: “The neighbor’s damn cherry tree hanging over our property is so annoying… time to prune some branches.”

Jake took a large saw and a ladder and went to work on the “troublesome” cherry tree, cutting off branches.

He continued: “I wish they would completely cut down that offending tree on the property line.”

Upon completion, the poor cherry tree was missing half of its branches – which left many viewers divided.

One commented: “You’re the neighbor people make videos about. I’m glad I’m not alive.” next to you.”

Another said: “What a bad thing.”

A woman chimed in: “So you turned a pretty tree into an eyesore? Good job.”

A supportive follower suggested: “Firstly, they had every right to do this! Secondly, even though this tree is beautiful, it is poisonous to your animals!”

Another homeowner was deemed “out of order” after cutting down his neighbor’s tree that was blocking his driveway.

The TikTok user known as @smargarden1982 took to the social media platform to speak out Movie He himself cut the leaves back so that they didn’t overhang his driveway.

A post titled “What would you do if your neighbor’s tree blocked your driveway” shows the man grappling with the issue.

Dressed in a t-shirt and shorts with a baseball With the hat on his head, he takes out a pair of hedge trimmers and begins to cut back the branches of the tree that protrude beyond his drive.

The clip, less than a minute long, is wordless but set to the melody of Inner City’s 1988 dance track “Good Life.”

However, he is careful to only cut off the foliage that overhangs his property and leaves the rest of the tree on his neighbor’s side alone.

Most commenters saw no problem with what he was doing and noted that it was completely legal.

One person wrote: “It’s perfectly legal to cut off what’s over the border.”

A second suggested: “I would probably talk to my neighbor and ask for the amount to be reduced. I would also offer to represent their side.”
