In a video posted to TikTok by @anferneedrives, Tesla driver Anfernee shared his thoughts on the engine.
He told his followers, “That’s why I don’t like my Tesla, the trunk opens and closes by itself, but if I want to try that in the front you have to get out of the car and do it yourself.”
“And if you then want to close it, you have to do it in two very specific places so that the bonnet doesn’t dent.”
“It’ll take a few tries.”
But people were quick to point out an important feature that Anfernee hadn’t considered.
One user wrote: “Every hood works like this.”
“You don’t want the trunk to pop open at high speed.”
“That’s for security reasons, though,” agreed a second.
Another wrote, “Bro forgot to show everything else wrong.”
This happened when another man put his Tesla up for sale because he criticized the luxury engine for poor quality.
An EV driver bought a ‘fully loaded’ Model S Plaid, fetching a whopping £140,000.
TikToker @stathios uploaded his video to show viewers the issues he was having with his brand new electric car.
He explained that he had just received the engine but found that the door did not close properly and that a tour of the car revealed irregular gaps in the bodywork.
Another disappointed customer, who also took to social media to vent his frustration, said he hates his Tesla.
TikTok user @nicpalladino10 says the battery life shown on his Tesla’s screen is inaccurate.
Meanwhile, a driver who bought a £100,000 Tesla Model S claims it looks like it was built by a group of toddlers.
