Prosecutors said Guzman and his sister, who have not been named by authorities, argued on February 1 when Guzman punched his sister and broke one of her teeth.

The next morning, Guzman discovered that his sister had sex with a male friend while he was sleeping, which detectives allege caused the assault.

Guzman allegedly killed his sister by hitting her forehead with a “massage tool” and a baseball bat, authorities said.

Guzman, who works in landscaping, later confessed to his mother, who contacted authorities while Guzman tried to clean up the bloodstain.

Guzman had fled by the time deputies arrived at the scene, where prosecutors said they found the murder weapon as well as packages of cocaine and methamphetamine.

El Paso prosecutors say Guzman was a drug dealer with previous crimes, including a case where he was accused of breaking someone’s arm with a baseball bat and smashing a window in 2017.

Guzman is also believed to have had previous cases of domestic violence and drug possession, according to Daily mail.
