I am a former employee of Michael

WE are always looking for ways to save money.
Whether it’s buying customs clearance items or using coupons, a good sale is always welcome.
A former employee of Michael shared her tips to see how you can save money shopping at a popular arts and crafts retailer.
“When I was in high school and after I graduated, I was Michael’s assistant director,” she began.
She said that although some of the policies have changed since she left the store, these still hold true.
“Several times a year, Michael’s takes these $5 bags.
“They’re filled with everything that doesn’t sell when the price drops by 90%.”
And she insists that some of these bags have quality items inside.
“Like, I personally put together bags that retail for $300 or $400.”
That’s a huge leap from the $5 price point.
“I would say the average is between $75 and $100, but they are always worth five dollars.”
Her second secret warns viewers to never pay full price when shopping at Michael’s.
“Like if you do [pay full price], I’m evaluating. Michael always has coupons. ”
She claims that while coupons were better before the pandemic hit — with many coupons more than half off on certain items — today’s coupons are still pretty good.
“If you join the rewards program, they give you an instant coupon.”
“Michael’s also offers huge discounts if you’re a teacher or nonprofit, so just ask at checkout.”
She said that when she worked there, most of the time she just gave people a discount if they asked for it at the check-in counter.
In response to a comment asking what time of year the take-out bag is released, the former employee posted another video claiming that the take-out bag was dropped yesterday, January 18.order.
Give your local store a ring to make sure they’re carrying $5 worth of goodies!
