TikToker Timmy (@timmc1269) recently shared the video of the supposed puppy.

“I found a stray dog!” the on-screen text begins.

The video shows the suspected stray pet trying to bite someone’s hands.

The dog shows his teeth as the text on the screen changes.

“It’s not very friendly!” The text continues.

However, the video then shows the animal happily accepting some affection.

The video then continues with more text on the screen: “Very protective!!”

As the human tries to catch the suspected pup, the text on the screen reads: “Hard to catch!!!”

Then the animal is seen lying on its back receiving belly scratches.

“I’ll take her home!” the text on the screen reads.

However, in other videos, Timmy reveals that the dog is actually a coyote.

Timmy’s video has been viewed more than 1.9 million times.

Even the people in the comments weren’t convinced that Timmy had found a dog.

“That’s not a dog, that’s a squeaky coyote,” one person commented.

“Why am I on the other side of the world when I want to cuddle a coyote,” wrote another.

But some understood the sarcasm in Timmy’s video.

“How did you find a wild Pomeranian??” someone wrote.

“It’s definitely not a dog. That’s an emu,” another interjected.
