IVORY COAST was devastated after allowing Sierra Leone to score the equalizer in COMFORT stoppage time in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Goals from former West Ham striker Sebastien Haller and Arsenal man Nicolas Pepe appeared to have secured a second straight win for the Ivorian.
But in 93rd minute Goalkeeper Badra Ali Sangare tried to hit a misguided header by the defence… and somehow he managed to swing the ball inside the box.
Former Tottenham and Cardiff defender Steven Caulker was there to clear the puzzle for Sierra Leone as he squared off for Alhaji Kamara.
And he made no mistake, shooting home to save a point for his country.
An astonishing sight followed for Sierra Leone as the players, sub-teams and coaching staff all celebrated by piling up in the corner.
Reacting to the goal, one social media user said: “The condition of the field or just poor goalkeeper? It looks like a farmer’s field but the goalkeeper’s fault is there.”
While another added: “Competing with Martinez for the best howl of the season.”

And a third praised Sierra Leone for their performance, saying: “Sierra Leone is reminding us all why we love football so much, they are a great team to watch.
“Full of combat and players with character.”
And more bizarre antics happened after the embarrassed Sangare goalkeeper was injured in the incident.
With only seconds left, former Tottenham defender Serge Aurier had to put on gloves.
Luckily, he didn’t face anything too taxing as the match ended 2-2.
