How to get and use Minecraft maps

Although built in Minecraft often as a bonus, players sometimes want to skip the process and bring a piece directly to their world or server.

Like the server method, players will want to download the WorldEdit program to their respective mod managers. They can then place the downloaded WorldEdit files in the mods folder for their management program.

After the player obtains WorldEdit, they can start downloading the schema files. There are several reliable community sites that support these files, such as Minecraft-schearies.com and the popular PlanetMinecraft site.

Once the schematic files are downloaded, players will want to place them in the schematics folder of their WorldEdit folder. The sample file path will be /plugins/worldedit/diagrams or something like that, depending on whether the mod is installed for A server or mod manager.

Once the maps have been placed, the player can enter their world or server. They can use the command “// schem load filename mcedit” in download their desired diagram. However, keep in mind that the “filename” part of the command must be replaced with the name of the desired schema file without its “.schematic” extension.

In the end, all players need to do is go to the location where they want to place their map and enter “//paste” request.
