How to evolve Finizen in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Finizen is an adorable Water-type dolphin Pokémon that you’re sure to encounter while exploring the shores of Paldea. Spawning in over 80% of the ocean areas on the world map, this cute porpoise is hard to miss. During Finizen’s development in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Since it isn’t particularly unique aside from having a heart on its belly, trainers may want to evolve it to complete their Pokedex. However, the biggest challenge in this development is that it requires the help of other coaches, also known as players.

You can only evolve Finizen in Palafin Pokémon Scarlet and Violett through co-op mode:

  1. Increase your Finizen’s level to 37 or higher.
  2. Go to any Pokémon Center and attend a Union Circle session.
  3. Invite a friend or two to join your session.
  4. Increase Finizen’s level by fighting or using XP Candies.
  5. Your Finizen evolves into Palafin when it reaches level 38.

If your Finizen is already level 38 or higher, it will evolve the next time it levels up.

Let’s say you don’t have any friends who could join you or you don’t know anyone who could join you in co-op in the game. In this case, we recommend you join a Discord server Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Next, go to an appropriate channel where trading and other co-op activities take place and request an invitation with your link code.

Once someone joins you, simply increase the level of your Finizen so that it evolves into Finizen and Palafin Pokémon Scarlet and VioletT. Unfortunately, there is little reason to have Palafin in your party, as it is not an ideal choice for Tera raids or PvP trainer battles. However, if you’re a fan of a cute, heart-shaped dolphin accompanying you on your Paldean travels, then Finizen’s Evolution is an excellent companion.

Here’s a video from Nickcucc if you want a gameplay demonstration of the development:
