TUPAC Shakur’s life was tragically ended when he was murdered in a drive-by shootout – but many people suspect he is still alive.

Tupac, popularly known by his stage name 2Pac, is considered one of the greatest artists of his time and continued to sell millions of albums in Las Vegas long after his death.

Who was Tupac?

Tupac was an American rapper who impersonated ’90s gangsta rap and became an icon after his death.

His mother Afeni Shakur – an active member of the Black Panther Party – raised him and his sister Sekyiwa in New York.

Tupac is one of the best-selling rappers of all time, having sold 75 million albums to date.

In his music he often described the struggles of African Americans and made him the spokesman for an entire generation.

How old was Tupac when he died?

Tupac was born on June 16, 1971 in Harlem.

The renowned rapper was only 25 when he was fatally shot.

Tupac’s last words to his friend Suge Knight were “You’re the one they shot in the head — you shot in the head” because he thought the Death Row Records boss had been injured.

Compton mobster Keffe D Davis has since boasted about his alleged role in the murder, detailing how he and his nephew Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson shot and killed Tupac before fleeing the scene.

Davis wrote that he was given a gun to murder Tupac as revenge for Pac beating up Anderson after a fight with Mike Tyson at the MGM Grand in September 1996.

What do we know about his death?

Tupac was gunned down at a Las Vegas intersection on September 13, 1996 by a gunman in a four-passenger white Cadillac.

The car he was in was stopped at a red light when he was hit by .40 caliber bullets fired from a Glock.

Tupac was shot four times in the chest, arm and thigh and died of his injuries six days later in hospital after being put into a coma.

Suge – who was dating Tupac at the time – had been driving the wrong way to the hospital before crashing into a partition at a traffic junction, police said.

Police believed “gangbanger” Anderson was responsible, but police filings revealed they are actively looking for “suspects.”

Las Vegas detectives appear to have ruled out the LAPD’s long-held belief that Crips member Anderson pulled the trigger.

“Disclosure of investigative records may alert interested persons or possible suspects in the investigation … which could result in the destruction or concealment of evidence,” said a 2018 letter.

Anderson always denied murder and was never charged before his death in a Compton shooting two years later.

What are the conspiracy theories surrounding his death?

Suge also said Tupac talked about faking his own death when they were on vacation shortly before his death on the Showtime documentary American Dream/American Knightmare.

His son Suge J. Knight is convinced that Tupac lives in Malaysia and that his death was orchestrated by the Illuminati.

Many “sightings” over the years have led people to believe the star faked his own death, while others are convinced he is alive within sight.

In his posthumous 2002 track Better Dayz, Tupac said, “Expect from me what you expect for Jesus to come back.”

Locals in Old Havana, Cuba, claimed they saw him walking around, while videos have also surfaced of men who look like him.

Conspiracy theorist Michael Nice has also said that he and former President Fidel Castro helped bring Tupac to Cuba because he was under attack.

Does Tupac live in sight?

Filmmaker Rick Boss believes that Tupac fled via the University Medical Center in Vegas with a body double or a helicopter to New Mexico, where he continues to be protected by the Navajo tribe.

But private eye Jimmy Poole is convinced the ghetto gospel rapper lives in Belize, where a Tupac look-alike posed with a fan.

Others believe he lives in the US after footage of a man who looked like him surfaced in footage from the Occupy Wall Street movement in New York – but he was also spotted at a bar in New Orleans.

Images of celebrities like Beyonce and 50 Cent posing with Tupac have also been circulating online, but it’s not known if they’re real.

However, some people believe Tupac is actually being held in a Los Angeles jail after “newly found” accounting records from 2017 and 2019 appear to match the rapper’s identity.

YouTuber ex con Cody Lachey claimed when he searched for Tupac Amaru Shakur and his date of birth, two more recent entries turned up.

The first is from April 14, 2017 and the second from April 26, 2019, including details of his height and weight, but false names may be given. How old was Tupac when he died and when is his birthday? – The US sun
