MIA Khalifa stunned fans when she split from husband Robert Sandberg – but how many times has she walked down the aisle?
The social media star divorced for a second time in April 2021, despite the couple “doing their best,” and has been using her platform to share some marriage tips ever since.
What did Mia Khalifa say about marriage on TikTok?
Mia shared an overview of her relationship history with her 37.8 million followers on TikTok and offered an insight into the importance of marriage.
As she debated her opinion on the value of divorce, some followers responded by saying, “It’s not the same as having kids.”
Mia replied: “Oh my god, of course it’s not that easy when you have children, but what do you want to teach your children, do you want to teach them to put up with things just for the sake of others?”
“And in the end, if you’re unhappy, is it for the good of your children?”
Fans were quick to agree with the former actress in the comments section.
“Better to grow up in two separate homes than one unhappy one,” wrote one follower.
“Absolutely, I’ve seen bad marriages do far more damage than divorce ever could,” wrote another.
“Exactly,” agreed a third.
How many times has Mia Khalifa been married?
In a video posted on her TikTok: @miakhalifa announced that she was engaged three times and married twice.
She even sparked rumors that she could be associated with Tom Brady after his split from Gisele Bundchen after 13 years of marriage.
She explained, “Girls don’t know I’m Tom Brady in this game.”
“Married at 18, divorced at 21. Second marriage: married at 25, divorced at 28.
“Third Engagement: Engaged at 29, ended at 30, but I kept the ring and I still keep Tom Brady on his toes.”
“We shouldn’t be afraid to leave these men. We don’t get stuck with these people.”
“Marriage isn’t hypocritical, it’s paperwork. It’s a commitment you make to someone, but when you feel like that commitment isn’t going to work and you try, you have to leave. You have to go.”
“I know it’s difficult to fill out paperwork, make appointments and do all that stuff.
“But this is your damn life. Do you want to stay with someone? Point.”
Her advice proved controversial, with many haters criticizing her for talking so casually about marriage.
However, the former actress also received a lot of praise in the comments section for encouraging people to have happy and healthy relationships.
The influencer already tied the knot for three years between 2011 and 2014 during her adult career.
The identity of her first husband was never revealed, but it was reported that the young couple had married as soon as she left high school at age 18.
In March 2019, Mia and Robert Sandberg got engaged after first going public with their relationship on social media in August 2018.
They shocked fans when they decided to call it quits.
Mia announced the couple’s split Instagram Post with a black and white photo of the couple’s shadows.
She wrote: “We can say with confidence that we have done everything we can to make our marriage work, but after almost a year of therapy and effort, we walk away knowing that we have a friend in each other and that we really tried. “
“We will always love and respect one another because we know that it wasn’t an isolated incident that caused our breakup, but the culmination of irresolvable, fundamental differences for which no one can blame the other.”
She went on to admit that the couple “have no regrets” and that they will remain connected through “their family, friends and our love for our dogs.”
Mia called the breakup “long overdue,” but reiterated that the couple “can go through and say we’ve done our best.”
Is Mia Khalifa dating anyone now?
