On June 18, 1978, Jeffrey Dahmer murdered and disposed of his first victim, Steven Hicks.

Although Hicks was Dahmer’s first murder, he did not cannibalize his body.

Judging by his later confessions to the police, it wasn’t until he moved from Ohio to Wisconsin that the serial killer began preparing and devouring his victims’ flesh.

When police arrested sex offender Dahmer in Milwaukee, he had committed 16 more murders since Steven Hicks.

After his arrest, the criminal admitted to committing 17 murders and eating several of his victims.

Law enforcement recovered a variety of human torsos, bleached skulls, severed heads, hearts and other pieces of flesh from Dahmer’s Milwaukee home.

Analyzing his confessions to authorities, it is believed that he consumed flesh from 15 of his victims while he was staying at his Milwaukee horror home.

Dahmer admitted to Inside Edition’s Nancy Glass, “I had these obsessive desires and thoughts about wanting to control her, to, I don’t know how to put it, own her permanently.

“Not because I was mad at her, not because I hated her, but because I wanted to keep her with me. As my obsession grew, I saved body parts like skulls and skeletons.”

He insisted his gruesome killing spree would have continued had he not been taken into police custody, admitting: “I can’t think of anything to stop me.”

Regarding her meeting with the murdering lunatic, Nancy told The US Sun: “My first impression of Dahmer was how normal he looked.

“One thinks that anyone could be capable of such crimes.
