THIERRY HENRY fired a brutal warning at Christian Pulisic – asking: ‘How many managers won’t trust you?’

The American winger joined Chelsea for £58million in 2019 when Frank Lampard was Blues boss.

But despite his big money change, he struggled to really hit the heights that many at Stamford Bridge were expecting.

His debut season was his most prolific, with 11 goals in 34 games, but he has scored just 14 more in his last 90 games under Lampard, Thomas Tuchel and now Graham Potter.

And his falling out with Tuchel became public, involving his father on social media when the Pulisics complained about a lack of playing time.

Pulisic got his first assist of the season when he set up Conor Gallagher’s winner at Crystal Palace in Potter’s first league game in charge.

But the 24-year-old didn’t stand a chance to add to his tally on Wednesday night as he was an unused substitute in Chelsea’s 3-0 win over AC Milan.

And Henry didn’t hold back with his comments about the struggling Stars and Stripes ace.

The Arsenal hero, now a Champions League pundit for CBS Sports, said: “You’ve got to bring something to the table at some point, I know I’m repeating myself but it’s true.

“How many managers won’t trust you? At some point you have to be. So find a way.

“The other day Conor Gallagher came on against Palace, yes I know him [Pulisic] gave him the ball and Gallagher was yet to score [from range] but it will go down as an assist.

“But it shows something, that’s why Gallagher came on tonight because he scored against Palace.

“Show us sometime what and what you can do, then maybe he’ll be fit for the World Cup and the US team.

“But how many managers won’t trust you? At some point you have to be, you have to show something.”

Fellow pundit Jamie Carragher fears for his performances if he goes into the World Cup out of form.

The Liverpool legend said: “It’s early days for Graham Potter but Thomas Tuchel hasn’t used him too often. Certainly the new manager [hasn’t] in those early games.

“I think it’s a bit of a concern for America in terms of the World Cup.

“You talk about England getting players fit for the World Cup, it doesn’t look like he’s doing his best in terms of fitness, energy, sharpness and rhythm.

“I think it’s really worrying for him because I just don’t see how he’s going to get the games.

“There are so many players in those attacking positions, he’ll only get minutes off the bench. I don’t think it will be enough to do his best for the national team at the World Cup.”
