How long has Pete Davidson been on SNL?
Back in 2014, Davidson, 28, became the first person born in the 1990s to join the cast of SNL.
He joined the hit comedy sketch show at the young age of 20 during the show’s 40th season.
When Davidson first came to SNL, he was a relatively unknown comedian from Staten Island, New York.
Two years after joining the cast, he filmed his first hour-long stand-up special for Comedy Central.
That same year, he was included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
Davidson made headlines again during Justin Bieber’s 2015 Comedy Central Roast.
Five years later, in 2020, he released his Netflix special Pete Davidson: Alive From New York.
Davidson also co-wrote and starred in the 2020 film The King of Staten Island.

On May 20, 2022, the day before the season 47 finale, Variety reported exclusively that Davidson could be leaving SNL.
Although he could leave SNL, he is expected to maintain a relationship with Broadway Video, the production company responsible for SNL, the outlet reports.
Other cast members whose tenure on the show has come under scrutiny at the end of recent seasons include Michael Che, Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon and Kenan Thompson.
