How long does viewing last?

Happy stranger things week, nerds! It really felt like we’d never get to that point. And yet here we are. Just days away from stranger things Season 4!

The highly anticipated fourth season debuts on Friday, May 27th. We won’t get the full season just yet, though. Season 4 has been split into two volumes. The first part drops this week with the first seven of nine episodes. Then it’s back to the second half of the season on July 1st. We’ve waited so long for the season. I think we can do a couple of weeks between volumes!

It might seem like an odd way to break up the season, but it probably has to do with how long the episodes are. We’re getting a super big season with longer running times! All episodes are over an hour long, and the very last one is two and a half hours! We have a lot of content coming our way.

How long does it take to watch Stranger Things season 4?

Well, with episodes this long, that’s quite a bit of binge-watch time to set aside. In total, this is how long it takes you to get through the season:

• stranger things part 1 (episodes 1-7): 539 minutes, almost nine hours
• stranger things volume 2 (Episode 8 and 9): 235 minutes, almost four hours
• stranger things Volume 1 and 2: 774 minutes, almost 13 hours

That’s a lot of time to find! But we Stranger ThIngs Fans will definitely make it work. After all, we have waited so long for the coming season. It could actually well be that the last two episodes will come a little later. We have nine hours of great material to work through before the penultimate and final episodes hit Netflix!
