ARCH MANNING has signed for Texas in a move that will have Longhorns fans mouth-watering.
The No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2023 announced his decision in a short and sweet statement on Twitter on Thursday.
He chose to play his college football in the Texas orange jerseys rather than Georgia, Alabama, LSU, Clemson and Virginia.
Manning, 18, is the nephew of NFL greats Peyton and Eli Manning — who have won four Super Bowls together.
His grandfather is Archie Manning and his father is ex-Ole Miss recipient Cooper Manning.
He made college football shine at Isidore Newman High School in New Orleans.
Manning threw for 5,731 yards and 72 touchdowns in his freshman three years of high school.
His coach Nelson Stewart said: “He made that decision himself. That was his choice.
“I’m just glad he’s where he needs to be. He is an 18 year old boy. He had a lot to carry. He took his time and showed a lot of maturity.
“When it comes to this family, the choice was his.”
Arch simply wrote on social media on Thursday: “Committed to the University of Texas. #HookEm.”
And an excited Texas coach, Steve Sarkisian, replied: “All Gas, No Brakes!!!”
