The tragedy happened in China’s Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Yunnan Province on Wednesday.
The man, dubbed Ruan by local media, was struck by lightning during a wedding photoshoot with his fiancee on Spruce Meadow, a popular vantage point.

Those who stood near the victim were unharmed.
Footage shows the rescue crew carrying the man on a stretcher in heavy rain.
