Horror moment Los Angeles meteorologist Alissa Carlson Schwartz’s eyes roll back in her head as she collapses on live television

CHILLING video captures the horrific moment Alissa Carlson left Schwartz rolling her eyes in the back of her mind as she collapsed on live TV.
The Los Angeles weatherwoman was preparing for her report at 7 a.m. Saturday when the color suddenly drained from her face.

Schwartz leaned on her desk while her co-hosts talked between segments.
Trying to keep her smile, Schwartz’s eyes rolled into the back of her head before she could even begin the prediction, and she slowly fell forward onto her arms until her head was inches from the desk.
Her legs suddenly gave out and she fell to the ground, but her co-hosts Nichelle Medina and Rachel Kim didn’t seem to notice at first.
Medina even calls her by her name and says, “Alissa, this really is the calm before the storm.”

However, just a few seconds later, Kim says “oh” in shock as she squirms in her chair while trying to look at Schwartz across the room.
Medina immediately turns to the audience: “You know, we’re going on and now we’re going to take a break.”
“Yes,” Kim said.
However, the show did not return to a live segment after the hiatus, instead airing recorded segments.
In an update on her Facebook, Schwartz wrote, “Thanks for all the texts, calls and well wishes. I’m doing well!”
It is unknown what caused her to faint, but she experienced a similar incident in 2014 while working at another station.
When she filled in for one of her colleagues, Schwartz suddenly threw up in the middle of the show.
She learned she had a leaking heart valve after seeing a doctor who told her they didn’t know when it would wear out.
After her daughter was born, the stem cells from her pregnancy helped repair her heart.
Still, it’s unclear if her fainting spell is related to this condition.
