Billy Hernandez, 50, was taken to the Manhattan Criminal Court after his arrest Tuesday afternoon, the NYPD confirmed.
The man is accused of slashing and slashing a woman – reportedly either his girlfriend or an ex – on the platform of the 4/5 train around 9.30am on June 21.
Hernandez fled the scene after the cuts and sexually assaulted a receptionist at the RevCore Recovery Center in Tribeca around 12 p.m., reports the New York Post.
There he allegedly grabbed the buttocks of a 27-year-old woman as she assisted him with a technical issue in preparation for a Zoom meeting, police officers told the Post.

During an indictment on June 22, investigators revealed more information about the subway platform slashing.
Investigators said video footage showed Hernandez waiting for the victim, who reportedly returned items of clothing to him.
“In this video, the victim walks up to the defendant, drops a bag at his feet, turns and walks away,” the assistant district attorney told the New York Post.
“As soon as the victim turns to leave, the defendant grabs her shoulder with one hand and with the other, the defendant violently slits the victim’s throat.
“As the victim tries to run away, the defendant follows her and makes more slashing motions toward her.”
“This victim sustained a deep laceration that extended from the right side of her neck to below her right eye. A laceration on her left forehead, a laceration under the left side of her chin, and a laceration on her back.”
The woman remains in stable condition at Bellevue Hospital, the NYPD said.
Hernandez was charged with attempted second-degree murder and first-degree assault in the incident.
He was also charged with violent touch and third-degree sexual abuse for the RevCore Recovery Center incident.
Judge Marisol Martinez Alonso set Hernandez’s bail at $500,000 in cash or $1 million bail.
In addition, bail for violent touching and sexual abuse incidents was set at $1.
VIOLENT ROBBERY FEES
Hernandez was also charged with another crime that took place on June 19.
He is accused of hitting a man and stealing his cell phone at the Alfred E. Smith Houses on the Lower East Side.
In that incident, Hernandez was charged with second- and third-degree robbery.
He was ordered to be held on $10,000 bail, $15,000 insurance company bail, or a $20,000 partially secured bond, according to the Manhattan Attorney’s Office, according to the New York Post.
The district attorney’s office also said that restraining orders were issued against Hernandez in all three cases.
Hernandez was charged in a gun incident back in February, records show.
Charges in that incident include reckless endangerment and gun possession after he engaged in a shootout with another person in Manhattan.
He posted bail for the case earlier this month.
Hernandez previously served time in prison — initially 16 years after an assault conviction in 1995, followed by three and a half years after an assault in 2015 — and is on life probation.

He has been arrested at least 16 times since 1988, reports the New York Post.
Hernandez is scheduled to appear back in court on June 27.
