Horrifying photos show the deadly consequences of a freak car crash that left a woman dead after a tire crashed through her windshield

HORROR pictures show the aftermath of a fatal crash in which a driver was killed by a loose tire that smashed through the windscreen of her car.
The unnamed woman died in the unusual incident while driving on I-70 near Indianapolis, Indiana.
Her death was confirmed at the scene of the accident, and pictures showed the terrible consequences of the accident.
Indiana police said a wheel broke off a Nissan pickup truck, ultimately leading to the incident just after 7:45 a.m. Monday morning.
The disabled wheel crashed into the woman’s SUV, cracking her windshield and damaging the front end of her roof.
This caused the driver to veer off the highway and crash into a nearby fence.

When witnesses arrived on scene, they discovered the car was on its side, 25 feet from a nearby home.
Paramedics arrived shortly after and found the woman unresponsive behind the wheel while she was still in her “severely damaged car,” according to police.
While emergency services tried to save the driver, she was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Police are not releasing the victim’s name at this time, but were able to locate the driver of the Nissan.
What follows is a horrific car accident in Poinciana, Florida, that claimed the lives of a grandmother and three of her grandchildren.
The incident occurred after a 15-year-old ran a stop sign, causing him to hit the victim’s SUV and go off the road.
“I just saw the devastation of everything,” witness Michelle Torres told the local CBS affiliate WKMG-TV.
“At least a dozen times people have driven through our neighbor’s fence, almost into their house from that intersection.”
According to Torres, she tried to help the teen, who was visibly shaken after the incident.
“That’s all he kept asking me: ‘Am I going to jail?’ Ma’am, am I going to jail?'” she said.
When paramedics arrived at the scene, the teenager was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol investigated the incident and has not announced whether the 15-year-old will be charged in the crash.
