Horizon Forbidden West may have highly requested flying horse riding mechanic, according to recent leaks

Feasibility Forbidden Horizon in the West The leak suggests that Guerrilla Games’ upcoming title could feature the much-requested flying mount mechanic.

Rumors stemming from a post on ResetEra that’s about a Review accidentally leaked from Russia, is a Chinese gaming website. The post goes into a lot of detail about possible mechanics.

A translated excerpt from the review suggests that the dinosaur-like “Sun-Wing beast” will allow Aloy to use it as a flying mount and travel large distances across the map.

The excerpt also states that the machine will boast solar cells on its wings and have ranged attacks such as “plasma bullet mouth”. The body will be covered in a shield and the machine can be found in high mountain areas.

It’s not the first time rumors of flying mounts have surfaced in the Horizon Forbidden West community

The rumor that Horizon Forbidden West will allow Aloy to build a flying machine isn’t exactly new. There has been much speculation surrounding it in the recent past.

As the Reddit post suggested, the community is wondering if Guerrilla Games will listen to player feedback and add the much-desired “flight” to the game.


Therefore, if Forbidden West releases a flying horse-riding mechanic, it will not come as a surprise to the community. Furthermore, back in June, it was discovered that the mechanic himself was present during the initial construction of Zero Dawn.

The video above shows footage from the beginning of Zero Dawn development stage back in 2012, where fans could clearly see Aloy riding atop what appeared to be a Glinthawk.

It is important to note that Horizon Forbidden West’s flying mount system is currently based on speculations and leaks. However, fans won’t have to wait long to know the truth, as the title states will release on February 18, 2022. It will only be available for PS4 and PS5.
