As part of the “Homeworld 3” reveal, Gearbox has officially launched Campaign picture to help fund the development of the game. The campaign accomplished its goal, raising over $1,500,000 and, according to the CEO of developer Blackbird Interactive, Rob Cunningham, setting the record for the highest “average Fig campaign contribution” the platform had ever seen at the time. Blackbird updated backers on the team’s progress over the following years, in addition to providing development timeline. Based on that roadmap, “Homeworld 3” is still in Production, with Alphas, Betas, Release Candidates, and Launches all expected to follow.
