Police were called and found the giant yellow python lying under the front steps.

The drama happened on July 5 in Andover, near Wichita, Kansas, USA.

A spokesman for the Andover Police Department said in a statement on Facebook: “No two days are the same at this job. Officials usually deal with escape artists who have four legs and fur.

“But this 15-foot bright yellow animal decided to change things up today.”
