His shop in Notting Hill, west London, was closed during the pandemic and has not reopened.

Now Gwyneth, 50, has signed forms to deregister Goop Inc Ltd, which managed the brand’s cash in the UK.

Goop’s main business is still valued at around £200m and continues to be traded in other international locations and online.

It continues to sell its products in stores in the United States, Canada, and France.

Paltrow has revealed that the geranium, citrus, bergamot and cedar-scented candle, marketed as a “vaginal scent,” originally started out as a joke.

“This candle started out as a joke between perfumer Douglas Little and GP – the two were working on a scent and she blurted out, ‘Uhhh… that smells like a vagina’ – but evolved into a funny, gorgeous, sexy and beautiful unexpected scent.” ‘ it says in the product description.

The company was founded in 2008 when mother-of-two Gwyneth was married to 45-year-old Coldplay star Chris Martin and living in London.

The couple separated in 2014.
