THE Holiday fans were left stunned after seeing a Killing Eve star look VERY different in Channel 5’s thriller.

The second episode of the Channel 5 drama saw Jill Halfpennys Character Kate continues to suspect her husband Sean of having an affair with one of her college friends with whom they vacation in Malta.

Kate initially suspected her friend Rowan of being the “other woman”, but in the second episode Kate focused her paranoia and energy on Jenny, who in the first episode admitted to having slept with Sean in her university days before he started going out with Kate.

Kate tried her best to keep an eye on Sean and checked his phone several times before pretending to be her husband and setting up with her nemesis out in the woods near the mansion.

In the final moments of the episode, Kate saw her single friend Izzy arrive at the clearing, phone in hand, convincing her and viewers that she is Sean’s mistress.

With all the drama, some viewers may not have noticed that Sean is played by actor Owen McDonnell, who portrayed Eve’s husband Niko on hit BBC drama Killing Eve.

As Niko, Owen had limp dark hair that reached his collar and a large ’70s-style mustache.

But in The Holiday, Owen’s curls are a little shoulder-length and brushed across his forehead, while not a single hair is visible on his upper lip.

As well as Killing Eve, Owen has recently starred in Silent Witness and ITV’s The Bay.

Viewers took to Twitter to discuss tonight’s twists, writing: “I still can’t understand the fact that actor Owen Mcdonnell is both Sean and Niko. I was totally fooled by a huge mustache.”

Another added: “But can we really get to the point now this is so slow.”

A third tweeted: “Would like to be on holiday with this crowd. I would sit back on the first plane.”

The holiday continues tomorrow night at 9pm on Channel 5.
