Hit-and-Run driver kills man after engaging him for more than one block in Philadelphia – NBC10 Philadelphia
Philadelphia police are searching for a motorist who stabbed and dragged a man more than a block over the weekend.
Jamal Jackson, 31, was at the intersection of E Street and Allegheny Avenue around 12:15 a.m. Sunday when he was hit by a vehicle.
The car slowed and then continued to drag Jackson for a distance and a half before Jackson overturned. The vehicle fled the scene and Jackson died of his injuries.
Police later released a surveillance photo of the moving vehicle. It is described as a 2004 to 2008 Acura TL in white or light gray with a sunroof and damage to the right rear bumper area.
