PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Hershey Bears fans have a unique place in the record books.

Hershey, the Washington D.C. branch of the American Hockey League, hosted the annual “Teddy Bear Toss” game Saturday at the Giant Center, and fans staged a performance.

Fans have broken the previous record of 45,650 stuffed animals from 2019. The event was not held in 2020 or 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but toy drives are still being held for the public. copper, Hershey said.
