“Die Hard” fans want to see John McClane doing his job this December, there are actually a few streaming apps to choose from, but only two that aren’t related to pulling out your wallet. Amazon Prime subscribers can watch the classic action movie for free through IMDb TV, though it’s unclear for how long. Humans with Peacock Register also can access it now for free.

“Faced with Christmas 3,000 miles away from his estranged wife and two children, New York cop John McClane flies to LA with presents and hopes to mend his marriage,” reads the original synopsis for “Die Hard” . “Hans Gruber is also in LA, but he’s not there to give gifts. He’s there to receive: more than $600 million in unregistered bonds from the Nakatomi Corporation, where Holly, McClane’s wife, is chief executive officer. When the takeover turns hostile, it’s up to John McClane to take on the terrorists – but not without a sense of humour.”

Those who want to rent or buy “Die Hard” will have to come iTunes, YouTube, and Vudu to get their copy. At the time of writing, all three apps offer the movie for $3.99 and $7.99, respectively.
