Heineken introduces limited edition sneakers with soles filled with LAGER
HEINEKEN has created the ultimate pub crawl sneakers – the soles are filled with lager.
The limited “Heinekicks” include a bottle opener in the tongue.

‘Shoe surgeon’ Dominic Ciambrone, 36, designed them for the launch of Heineken Silver beer and said they were a ‘fun challenge’.
LA resident Dominic, who has designed similar designs for pop’s Justin Bieber and top basketball stars, added: “Heineken and I share a passion for innovation and pushing boundaries and have created a design that reflects this.
“I can’t say I’ve ever designed a sneaker that contains beer.”
A total of 32 will be manufactured for launch later this year. Heineken hopes the drink will appeal to a younger audience, and believes the idea of running on lager reflects the drink’s “unexpectedly smooth and unique” feel.
