On Sunday, the sounds of soar ropes hitting the bottom stuffed the Atrium on the United Middle.
The ‘Soar for Vets’ fundraiser raised funds for the Rag of Honor One, which helps veterans transition again into civilian life.
Sunday’s mission: present previous service members who’ve post-traumatic stress dysfunction a shot at a standard life.
Rag of Honor One group hoped to boost $20,000 to pay for the therapy of 10 veterans for medical procedures not lined by the VA or medical insurance.
The group hopes to recruit extra Chicagoans to leap on the trigger shifting ahead.
