Hazelwood Snacks Company Newly Hires 300 Employees

ST. LOUIS – If your New Year’s resolution is to find a new career, you’re in luck. A Canada-based manufacturing plant is moving to Hazelwood, bringing more than 300 jobs to the northern county.

8th Avenue Food and Supply Company is in the process of hiring people to work in its new 250,000 square foot facility. Workers will prepare and pack dried fruit and nuts for retail and foodservice customers.

Plant officials say there are a variety of jobs with good salaries and benefits, including opportunities in forklift operations, manufacturing and operations.
