Hazelwood Police say three armed suspects remain large after resisting arrest on Sunday morning

HAZELWOOD, Mo. – Hazelwood Police say they are searching for three armed suspects in connection with a Saturday night carjacking involving gunshots and resisting arrest Sunday morning.
Officers saw a dark-colored Audi sedan heading south on Howdershell Road around 9:15 a.m. Sunday. Officers learned that a local police department was searching for a dark-colored Audi in connection with an armed robbery involving gunshots.
Officers checked the vehicle’s license plate and discovered it had been stolen for the Godfrey, Illinois Police Department.
Officers attempted to stop the vehicle at McDonnell Blvd. and Brown Road, but the driver fled and took I-270 eastbound. The driver was then involved in a crash while entering the freeway, just east of McDonnell Blvd.
The four suspects then got out of the car and drove north across the highway. Police said all four suspects were armed. They conducted a survey of the area and one of the suspects was arrested. The suspect they caught was a minor.
The remaining three suspects are still big. They are described as two males wearing dark clothing and a female wearing white.
